Data Collection

AP Score Calculator does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All calculations happen entirely client-side in your browser. When you enter your multiple choice and free response scores, that information stays on your device and is never sent to any server. We do not have user accounts, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or any other identifying information to use our calculators.

Cookies

We do not use cookies for tracking purposes. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. For a limited time we also run a cookieless Google Analytics measurement (described under Third-Party Services below); configured this way it sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. No information about your visit is stored on your device by our site.

Third-Party Services

We self-host all fonts used on this site. No requests are made to external font services like Google Fonts.

We use Plausible Analytics for privacy-friendly website analytics. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across websites. You can review Plausible's data policy for details.

For a limited period we are also running a cookieless Google Analytics measurement on this site while we validate a product integration. It is configured to set no cookies and store nothing on your device. It sends aggregate visit data, such as page views, to Google Analytics, whose handling of that data is governed by Google's privacy policy. We will remove it once validation is complete.

Affiliate Links

Some pages on this site contain affiliate links to Amazon.com through the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Clicking an affiliate link takes you to Amazon's website, where Amazon's own privacy policy applies. We do not receive any personal data about your purchases from Amazon.

Advertising

We plan to add display advertising to the site in the future. When we do, ad networks (such as Google AdSense or similar services) may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your browsing activity. We will update this privacy policy before any advertising is implemented so you know exactly what to expect.

Children's Privacy

Our site is designed for high school students preparing for AP exams. Because we do not collect any personal data, there is no information gathered from users of any age. If we add features in the future that involve data collection, we will ensure compliance with applicable laws including COPPA.

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically for any updates.
